Hi Manuscript Workers,

Today’s post is a simple one, just a round-up of some previous posts, podcasts, and webinars I’ve created to help educate scholars about what developmental editing is, how developmental editors can support scholarly authors, and how to find and work with the right editor for you.

First, a brief reminder that my self-study course, Developmental Editing for Academics, is currently open for enrollment. This course is meant for anyone who wants to learn professional techniques for supporting scholarly authors. It will be especially helpful if you are considering launching a freelance editorial business, working with authors as an in-house book or journal editor, or advising graduate students.

The first live Q&A for course participants will be happening today at 10am Pacific, so if you’d like to attend that, go ahead and sign up for the course now to get the Zoom link.
